It is crucial to meet specific requirements for the construction of a storage godown. Therefore, we ensure that the materials used in construction are C.C. Block Wall, RCC Column, and no wood is used in the construction of storage godowns. Additionally, the floor of the storage godown is 2’-0” deep/sump, and ventilators are provided 6” above ground level and at 1’ below the roof, covered with single copper wire gauge mesh of 28 linear inches.

Furthermore, the door of the storage shed is of Angel Iron form of G.I Sheet and open drawing. We provide firefighting arrangements as required under Petroleum Rules, 1937. Smoking is not allowed inside the premises, and there is no use of fire/burner inside the guard/incharge room for cooking or any other purpose. At least one guard will be provided round the clock, fully conversant with the fire-fighting techniques. The existing industrial shed does not contain any dangerous petroleum goods, and offices are completely closed/empty without any activity.

Dangerous Petroleum Product license (DPL) Requirements

The Department of Explosives will need the following documents for the grant of license for non-bulk storage godown:

– Treasury challan deposited in federal treasury as per quantity.

attested by him and SITE Association
– Land ownership documents
– If the land is acquired from the land-lord/lady then a Tenancy Agreement
duly registered with Registrar.

8. THERE WILL BE NO USE OF A FIRE/BURNER INSIDE THE GUARD/INCHARGE ROOM FOR COOKING OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.
9. AT LEAST ONE GUARD WILL BE PROVIDED ROUND THE CLOCK, FULLY CONVERSANT WITH THE FIRE-FIGHTING TECHNIQUES.
10. THE EXISTING INDUSTRIAL SHED DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY DANGEROUS PETROLEUM GOODS AND OFFICES ARE COMPLETELY CLOSED/EMPTY WITHOUT ANY ACTIVITY.
